Mom's with kids with molescum!

5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazon Customer on January 31, 2017
I bought this because my daughter has molescum contagiosum on her legs with eczema on top. We've tried EVERYTHING. I MEAN EVERYTHING. I applied Comvita Manuka honey 15+ on her spots for a few days and most of them are gone. While it's still too early to tell if it's a permanent fix, this is definitely a win.
Cost too much for what was delivered

Was not full, about athird. Look at attached pictures!
The weight is less than what the label stated on the bottle.

I have been buying the exact same product for several years. Recent couple of puchases did notice much less quantity in the bottle, I weighed the latest batch of purchase, the label on the bottle stated “net weight is 8.8oz”, my scale showing the most heavy GROSS weight including bottle is 7.5oz! (The low is about 7oz). This agrees to the other reviews here - we are not receiving the full weight stated on the bottle! See attached photo. The product itself is good nevertheless.
Sweet! But only 6 ounces of honey!!

5.0 out of 5.0 by Kodalika on January 12, 2017
Wonderful tasting honey. The bottle says 8.8 oz but each of my 4 bottles has had only 6 oz in it. I cleaned empty bottle and measured to level where honey was. The whole bottle holds 8 oz full to the brim. At the price per ounce, this is a real rip off from Comvita.
3rd order was fake

1.0 out of 5.0 by bigmoom on February 11, 2018
This is my 3rd time ordering. The other orders were great, but this honey is different. It is grainy, and very light in color. I used to live next to a bee keeper, and he showed me how it is conventional practice to supplement the bees' with sugar water. The resulting honey often comes out grainy and light in color - just like this jar I paid $50 for. It also does not have the same healing effect on my acne and scars. I will not order this again from amazon.
I have been purchasing this honey for two years from ...

I have been purchasing this honey for two years from stores and online, this time I bought it online again and the honey is totally different with what I had before, it is thin liquid full of small bubbles and tastes strange......
I am forever grateful for this product and its producers!

I wanted to take a moment and write about this amazing honey. I am an engineering student so I usually don't have time to write reviews for the things I buy but I couldn't wait to write a review about this product. I am originally from a humid country. I have lived all over the world before and all those countries had a humid climate. One year ago, I moved to Texas and my skin, especially my face started having a crisis. I have a combination skin (oily T zone/ the rest is normal) and I started getting a lot of pimples on my face and I started developing new allergies in this dry and dusty state. I went to a dermatologist and he said my skin is not immune to this climate and that's why it is happening. He prescribed me antibiotics, 7.0% benzoyl peroxide acne wash and adapalene 3.0% topical retinoid gel. I used only the gel and it made my face worse which was normal because of purging phase of it but I knew that I didn't want to use it forever and wanted to find a natural alternative. I also had an auto immune disease 10 years ago called Vasculitis and survived from it so this is the summary of my background.

Since I have a lot of free time in summer, I started looking for the beneficial natural things for acne prone skins in dry climates and I found manuka honey. Some people eat it for their health issues and some people apply it on scars, cuts and other problematic skin areas. I made a little research because there are many which claim that they are medical manuka honey. This is UMF certified honey and if you want to confirm it, you can google it and find the list of UMF certified honey brands and their license numbers in NZ. I wrote to Comvita's official website's customer service and asked if I could purchase their products through Amazon because I was living in the US and if I ever experienced something unexpected, I would return it easily. They said they are selling their honey through Amazon in the US so I can definitely do that. If I was not a student, I would definitely buy the 20+ one because my biggest concern, for now, is not internal but external. It does come like 6 oz. in an 8 oz. jar but after seeing what it has been doing to my face, it is not even a concern. 15+ tastes great! I usually buy raw organic unrefined honey from a natural grocery store and they definitely don't taste the same. This is denser and you can definitely taste the quality. If you have a serious stomach or any other internal problem, eat one TBspoon a day. If you want to stay healthy, eat one Teaspoon a day because it is strong and yummy! I started applying this on my face as a mask after cleansing and toning my face after the shower. I used it 3 days and kept it 30 mins each night. I didn't see much difference but when I started leaving it over night, I had amazing results. After I started using this honey as an overnight mask, I quit using the adapalene/differin retinoid. It is definitely not easy and comfortable to sleep with it but it is WORTH IT! I had a huge cystic pimple growing around my chin area again and I felt so down that day. Then I read some stories about the people who were applying honey as an overnight mask when they have problems. This is my second day and there is nothing growing on my face and all of my blemishes seems to be fading! I can't believe how painful that pimple was only 2 days ago and now I can barely find its spot on my face.

Buy this if you have similar problems to these or buy this and eat it to stay healthy and away from the medicine as much as you can. You pay for the quality and you'll have this body only once!
Bad packaging

Just got the honey today. I was nervous to open this because the bottle was very dirty. The twist top was very hard to open, almost like the top was melted to the band. When I finally got the top off, the seal wasn't even correctly on/ sealed. I'm really hoping the honey wasn't tampered with and the quality wasn't comprised. It was a lot of money for me.
Maybe Not Authentic

1.0 out of 5.0 by Amazon Customer on May 7, 2018
I wonder whether this product is authentic Manuka honey. I also purchased 2 bottles from New Zealand and realized some differences. 1. The items that I bought from New Zealand have a box with laser seal, while the items from Amazon only come with the bottle. 2. The items from New Zealand tasted a bit sandy, while the ones from Amazon tasted more like normal honey. 3. The items from New Zealand are always 100% full, while the ones from Amazon are only 80%-90% full. Hope Amazon could do some investigation on this product.
3/4 full, maybe 6 oz in jar

5.0 out of 5.0 by Spot not Sport on November 19, 2017
Maybe 3/4 full. But checked weight on a scale and sure enough it was close to 8.8 oz. Don't forget to subtract the weight of the bottle Approx 2 oz.
This is wonderful stuff, cleared my sinus after first use.
